Financial Education
Approach to Financial Education
The training programme is designed with the logic of adult education methodology and learning cycle in which people are required to use different skills such as: engaging, listening, coming up with ideas and making decisions.
Therefore, the programme involves developing a strategy in which three aspects are interrelated:
TO SEE, which means that the beneficiaries should be involved in new experiences such as: identifying spending more frequently, keeping an eye on their expenses, knowing where payments come from and how often they come from your income, developing a savings plan and debt repayment and managing their activities and business decisions to enable further development as a company in the short and medium term. To this end, we will make use of different formats and graphics to visualize how each person is managing their business.
TO LISTEN, since people in this area approach financial issues from different perspectives. By analyzing the stories, listening to radio programs and exchanging experiences, people were able to form concepts and integrate the observations with theory.
This involves incorporating lessons learned in life and encouraging a change in behavior and attitude in decision-making regarding business/money financial management.
