MISHRA Byomkesh
 | Byomkesh is currently in-charge of the Microfinance projects, for the RBS Foundation India. He has been working closely with >35 startup and emerging MFIs in the underserved regions of India, for the effective implementation of the Technical Assistance Programme of RBS Foundation India, in collaboration with MicroSave Prior to this, he has worked with SKS Microfinance as Area Manager and later as Manager, Business Development as part of the Strategic Management team at SKS. He also has ground level experience working with the women Self Help Groups (SHG) for an NGO in eastern India. In addition, he has undertaken several research projects and studies on Microfinance, Livelihoods and Rural Development.
He holds a management degree from the prestigious Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) and a BS in Mathematics. He is trained and certified in ‘Strategic Business Planning’ and ‘Rapid Institutional Assessment’ of MFIs.
