The Microfinance Centre (MFC) and the European Microfinance Network (EMN) are proud to announce the joint management of theEU Help Desk. This help desk is a free resource for microfinance practitioners, researchers on access to finance issues, EU policy-makers and others interested in opportunities for improving access to finance for social enterprises, MSME entrepreneurs and vulnerable groups.
The EU Help Desk is designed to provide information on issues related to access to finance. We can help you learn more about:
Current EU policies, initiatives and support instruments (for example: EaSI, PROGRESS, JASMINE);
Country-level actors engaged in/supporting financial inclusion (including country level networks, technical assistance providers, researchers or think-tanks);
Potential links and alliances with access to finance actors in the EU;
Existing capacity building programs for microfinance providers;
Financial inclusion research initiatives;
Access to finance policy issues and initiatives.
