This evaluation assesses the achievements of the European Regional Development Fund and the Cohesion Fund in 2014-2020. It examines the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of investments supported, their coherence with other policies, their relevance and EU added value.

It aims to identify:

• factors contributing to the success or failure of these investments under different socio-economic conditions
• good practices
• the funds’ contribution to growth, sustainable development and job creation.
