SIFTA webinar on Tools for impact data collection

This webinar will explore tools and sources for post-investment information that are available at scale and consistently comparable. Participants will learn about academic baseline data, geo-spatial data, open government datasets, as well as data from Eurostat, WHO, OECD, and open-source algorithms.

Barbara Scheck is Professor of Entrepreneurship at Munich Business School. Her research focuses on financing social enterprises, impact and mission-related investing, and impact assessment. During her Ph.D., she developed the Social Reporting Standard. She has also consulted for a social venture capital fund and led projects for development cooperation agencies on social entrepreneurship. Barbara has contributed as a member of the EU’s GECES subgroup on impact measurement in social enterprise and the Impact Measurement Working Group of the Social Impact Investment Task Force established by the G8.

Barbara holds a Diplôme de Grande École and an MSc from the European School of Management, where she studied International Business Administration in Paris, Oxford, and Berlin, as well as a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Munich.
