Strengthening Human Resource Management in Microfinance

News

The European Microfinance Platform’s (e-MFP) Human Resources (HR) Action Group launched a global initiative to reflect on current HR practices and gain insight into alternative approaches that contribute to social and financial performance. SPTF, MFC, TripleJump, Incofin, ADA, ILO, and Academy of German Cooperatives are collaborating in this initiative, which is part of a broader effort by the e-MFP HR Action Group to develop standards and benchmarks for human capacity development.

You can participate by completing an online survey in English, French, Spanish or Russian. The survey takes approximately 90 minutes, but you can save your answers and exit the survey at any time to continue answering at a later stage. At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to register for a drawing to win a scholarship for next year’s European Microfinance Week in Luxembourg or the SPTF annual meeting (including ticket, accommodation and transport).

e-MFP will share the global (anonymized) data from the entire survey response, so you can compare your organization’s performance to global benchmarks and identify areas of strength as well as opportunities for improvement.

Although the survey will remain open through February 2021, we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity early, so that it can inform the decisions you are making about how to prepare, support and protect your people in the year ahead.
