Airdie is a solidarity-based financial association in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France and a regional representative of France Active. The highlighted Good Practice presents Airdie's agricultural and rural division that aims to make rural areas more dynamic. The project intends to create non-outsourceable jobs, reinforcing social links and taking into account the environmental and human dimension of financing rural businesses. The article describes how Airdie created a rural financing instrument: Finance for Rural Agriculture (FIA) and the implementation of hotlines to cover the maximum number of project developers.
