Delinquency Management Training Course

“The microenterprise credit field is getting too old to be dishonest about delinquency. How can everyone have a repayment rate of 98%”.

A delinquent loan is a loan on which payments are past due (late) (Calmeadow). This training session deals with one of the most difficult and sensitive areas of managing a Microfinance Institution (MFI): Delinquency Management.

The main objective of this course is to take the mystery out of delinquency management and to help MFI managers in Western Europe develop a systematic approach to preventing delinquency, measuring, analysing and understanding delinquency and controlling delinquency on a day-to-day basis. Finally, it will look at what to do if it all goes terribly wrong – how to handle a delinquency crisis.
