The purpose of the workshop will be to:
• Gather feedback from financial intermediaries and SME stakeholders on their experience with existing EU microcredit instruments; and,
• Explore ways of optimising the supply of microcredit within the existing framework.
Based on the above, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the SME Financial Forum workshop on microcredit that is scheduled to take place on Friday, 7 September 2012 on the European Commission’s premises, from 10:00 – 17:00 in meeting room AB/1.C, Centre Albert Borschette, rue Froissart 36, 1040 Brussels.
It will take place in the context of the current economic situation on one hand and ongoing discussions for the next multiannual financial framework on the other, particularly as regards the financial instruments under various EU policies.
