Technical Assistance

To help its member organisations grow, EMN proposes a well-structured consulting partnership package delivered by a team of dedicated experts. It consists of a prelimiary assessment stage followed by on-demand consulting through coaching, training, long-term assistance and exchange visits. EMN on-demand consulting is available at the convenience of each organization and can be adapted to all stages of development of the institution.

EMN members only have to pay for 30% of the cost; the rest is covered by EMN and co-sponsors!

So far, the Consulting Partnership has been carried out with the following organisations:

In 2005/06:

• with Adie on marketing issues in one of its regions in Île de France

• with La Caixa in Spain to assess its training needs

In 2006/07:

• with Micro.bo in Italy to develop its activity and work on its business plan
• with various MFIs in Romania about their training needs

In 2008:

• with NEEM in Sweden to launch its microcredit activity (2x)

In 2009:

• With NEEM in Sweden to support design and launch of microcredit activity
• With ANDC in Portugal to train staff on delinquency management issues
