Consumer credit agreements – review of EU rules

The Commission seeks to gather input from a wide range of stakeholders, including consumers (also vulnerable ones) and consumer organisations; public authorities, including those directly involved in the formulation and implementation/enforcement of consumer policies, and those in charge of competition, data protection, digitalisation and environment.  

It aims to consult credit providers, credit intermediaries and credit registers; industry associations, business who produce and sell consumer products (goods and services), distributors and importers, repair sector; large online platforms and other online intermediaries. 

It is directed towards professional associations, standardisation organisations, certification and labelling schemes, organisations of persons with disabilities and older persons, international counterparts (product safety authorities in non-EU/EEA countries); NGOs, researchers and academics, Commission expert groups, Members of the European Parliament and other EU Institutions, and national Parliaments.
