Join us on 27 May at 14:00 (Brussels time) for a dedicated webinar exploring how Effectuation — a set of entrepreneurial principles focused on leveraging available resources and networks — can be practically applied by loan officers to support micro and small businesses in vulnerable communities.

This session will dive into how Effectuation empowers entrepreneurs to build resilience, navigate uncertainty, and strengthen their business models, particularly in environments that face greater structural and economic barriers. With a focus on real-world application, participants will gain practical tools and insights to better support their clients and promote inclusive entrepreneurial growth.

We are pleased to welcome Professor Tom Cooney, an expert in entrepreneurship from the Technological University Dublin, where he also directs the Centre for Entrepreneurial Behaviour, Inclusion and Innovation. Professor Cooney has served as President of both the International and European Councils for Small Business and chaired the 2014 ICSB World Entrepreneurship Conference. He regularly advises the European Commission, OECD, and other international bodies, and has published extensively on minority entrepreneurship, with 13 books and over 80 academic contributions.

This webinar is particularly valuable for financial service providers and development professionals seeking to enhance their impact on underserved entrepreneurial communities.
