Join us on June 19th for the SIFTA webinar Unlocking Potential: Entrepreneurship Patterns of Women Entrepreneurs.
Women entrepreneurs often build their businesses under conditions that differ significantly from those of their male counterparts. From societal expectations and family responsibilities to unequal access to resources, these factors shape their motivations and their challenges.
This session will explore the unique patterns of women’s entrepreneurship, highlighting their barriers and innovative, resilient strategies they use to succeed. We’ll examine how gender influences entrepreneurial opportunities and uncover what we can learn from the ways women navigate and transform the business landscape.
The webinar will be led by Tom, Professor of Entrepreneurship at Technological University Dublin and Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Behaviour, Inclusion and Innovation at TU Dublin. A global leader in the field, Tom is a former President of both the International Council for Small Business and the European Council for Small Business, and chaired the ICSB 2014 World Entrepreneurship Conference.
With decades of experience as a policy advisor to governments, the European Commission, the OECD, and other international bodies, Tom brings academic insight and real-world relevance. He has published extensively on entrepreneurship, particularly in minority entrepreneurship, authoring 13 books, 26 book chapters, 38 journal articles, and 20 case studies. He also serves as a director of two enterprises and collaborates with many businesses.
Don’t miss this opportunity to gain expert insights into the intersection of gender and entrepreneurship—and how we can create more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems.
