Coming to EMN is for me a return to my societal impact roots. I am honored and grateful for the   opportunity and I am confident that, together with our Board, team, members and network, we will be able to move a few more steps closer to fulfilling our core mission: fight against financial exclusion and provide sustainable and innovative microfinancing tools to those who really need them.

Georgios' path has led him to navigate the complexities of communication strategy, team dynamics, and advocacy within the European Union. His tenure as Acting Chief Operating Officer and Marketing and Communications Director at the European Venture Philanthropy Association (now Impact Europe) and at the European Parliament showcased his knack for driving innovative initiatives and fostering collaboration. As Georgios embarks on this new chapter with the European Microfinance Network, we anticipate a convergence of innovative ideas, collective efforts, and mutual triumphs, fostering an environment where microfinance serves as the leading tool to fight against social and financial exclusion in Europe.
