The Business Enterprise Fund (BEF) has had much to deal with in this most exceptional of years. The global pandemic has touched everyone and the impacts upon the economy do not need repeating here. BEF is a social enterprise that exists to support the economic wellbeing of the regions it serves, using finance in an innovative way to change communities for the better. Therefore, BEF’s work in 2020-2021 has been especially needed in the support of those businesses most impacted by Covid-19 and the ensuing economic devastation of the numerous lockdowns.
