We are happy to announce that the European Microfinance Network (EMN) and the Microfinance Centre (MFC) are launching a new Microfinance Advocacy Committee which will be jointly chaired by both networks.  

We are looking for candidates of EMN and MFC member organisations working on microfinance in the European Union to join the new Microfinance Advocacy Committee.  

We are looking for committed practitioners who want to contribute to the advocacy strategies and activities of the sector. The Committee will aim to strengthen advocacy in the microfinance sector by sharing expertise, feedback, and developing common strategies. It also seeks to improve communication, impact and visibility by fostering dialogue with policymakers and representing the sector’s needs with evidence. 

The Committee’s objectives are to: 

  • Build common positions on the sector main concerns and challenges 
  • Increase visibility of the sector and its results 
  • Strengthen collaboration between practitioners, policymakers and public investors.
