Collective entrepreneurship can help entrepreneurs in low-income communities strengthen their financial health and build resilience. By pooling resources, knowledge and networks, entrepreneurs can share risks, access new markets and opportunities, and benefit from expertise and financing that may otherwise be out of reach. Collaborative business models can also foster mutual support, strengthen bargaining power and enable entrepreneurs to build more sustainable livelihoods.

This workshop will explore how collective entrepreneurship can support financial inclusion and resilience in low-income communities. It will help Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and Enterprise Support Organisations (ESOs) better understand the conditions that enable collaborative business models to succeed, and how they can support entrepreneurs in developing and sustaining these initiatives.
