Cresaçor provides economic-financial consulting services with the purpose of sustainability and autonomy, particularly for micro-enterprises. Its mission is to promote solidarity, economy and local/community development in the Azores Region, supporting the values of cooperation, identity and sustainability, with special focus on people, culture and environment. Its general objectives include increasing the access to education, training and jobs; access to microcredit; and supporting the creation of solidarity economy initiatives.

UNCAR is a nationwide, three-level non-profit organisation, encompassing 40 affiliated non-profit territorial unions (UTCARs) and 2,400 reciprocal aid associations (CARs).
