The Spanish Microfinance Association is composed by all the relevant actors in the national microfinance sector including NGOs, Foundations, Saving Banks, Universities, Consultants, Migrant Associations, Women Associations, Disable Associations, Ethnic minorities associations and more.

The Fundació Privada per a la Promoció de l’Autoocupació de Catalunya is a private and independent not-for-profit organization. It was created in 1986, to promote self-employment in Catalonia.

MicroBank was set up in 2007 as the social bank within La Caixa group. It has taken over the microcredit activity of the group.
