AFI’s mission is to make a real impact in the fight against financial and social exclusion in Greece by helping unemployed people create their own jobs and by helping existing businesses grow through access to funding of up to 10,000 euros in the form of microloans and free-of-charge pre and post disbursement business development services.

ADIE (Association pour le Droit à l'Initiative Economique) is a non-profit organisation helping people excluded from the workplace and the regular banking system to start a business and get self-employed, thanks to microcredit.

The MFI Créa-Sol is an association created by the Caisse d'Epargne Provence-Alpes-Corse (CE PAC). It supports and assists those excluded from the banking system in order to fight against social and economic exclusion.

The Social & Sustainable Finance Chair of the Montpellier Business School was created in October 2020 as an extension of the Microfinance in Developed Countries Chair, established two years before with Créa-Sol and the Caisse d’Epargne Languedoc Roussillon. The chairholders, Dr. Anastasia Cozarenco and Dr. Thi Hong Van Hoang, have the objective to promote social finance, in particular microfinance and social banking, and sustainable finance. To serve this objective, the activities of the chair are structured around three main types of activities: teaching, research, and events.
